Enhancement of fixed emoluments of Attendants to Hon'ble Ministers and Chief Government Whip

Summary: The Government of West Bengal's Home and Hill Affairs Department issued Order No. 1458-Home (Cons.) on August 5, 2026, revising the monthly fixed emoluments of Attendants to Hon'ble Ministers and the Chief Government Whip from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000, effective June 1, 2026. Issued with the concurrence of the Finance Department and Cabinet approval, the order maintains all other previously established service terms and conditions.

ORDER

In partial modification of this Department Order No. 43-Home (Cons.) dated 18.01.2024, the Governor has been pleased to order that the fixed emolument of the Attendants to the Hon'ble Ministers, Government of West Bengal and Chief Government Whip, West Bengal Legislative Assembly shall be enhanced from Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) per month to Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) per month w.e.f. 01.06.2026.

All other terms and conditions of service contained in the aforesaid Order shall remain unchanged.

This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U.O. No. Group P2/2026-2027/0218 dated 30/07/2026.

This has the approval of the Cabinet as communicated under Cabinet Sectt. U/O No. CAB (D)-96 dated 22-07-2026.
